Yalari

At Yalari, we believe education is the key to generational change and a brighter future, not only for Indigenous Australians but for all Australians and our nation as a whole.

Yalari (meaning “child” in Birri Gubba) is a national not-for-profit organisation offering high quality secondary education scholarships at leading boarding schools for Indigenous children from regional, rural and remote communities. Since 2005, Yalari has provided scholarships to hundreds of children from 189 communities, along with a comprehensive student support and development program, and a post-school pathways program to ensure students have the best opportunity for success. In 2020, there are 210 students on scholarships in 20 partner schools around Australia and a growing alumni of over 350 future leaders.
