The Role

This newly created role will support the Managing Director and Business Manager as follows:

  • Manage and facilitate the scheduling of the Managing Director and Business Manager’s diaries, activity and appointments, including preparation for various meetings and commitments. This will also include managing travel requirements.
  • Manage the internal policy and procedure documentation, including appropriate version history and systems.
  • Coordinating board meetings, including assistance in report preparation and administration.
  • Assist the Business Manager with compliance based corporate secretarial work for the Yalari group companies.
  • Manage all communication channels for the Managing Director and Business Manager and determine priorities and actions required to coordinate responses.
  • Assist the Business Manager maintain management systems and processes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Business Administration.
  • Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in a personal/executive assistant role is essential.
  • High level skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs and experience in managing databases
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse group of people
  • Highly organised
  • Self-motivated with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to work to tight timeframes
  • Proven communication, collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Superior writing and editing skills
  • Proven Team player – responsive, flexible and approachable
  • Experience working with Indigenous people and/or an empathy for Indigenous concerns.
