About the role

Working as a member of the Finance team, the Finance Manger role will supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance the role offers opportunities to grow your managerial finance career within a supportive team environment.

Skills, knowledge and experience

• Demonstrated understanding, knowledge and experience of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations at management level.
• Knowledge and understanding of risk management and corporate governance.
• Demonstrated high level financial analysis, problem solving and reporting skills.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills together with an ability to communicate complex financial information and concepts in simple language.
• Good time-management and organisational skills
• Advanced MS Excel and significant experience working with Financial Management Systems.
• Demonstrated people management experience and a track record creating constructive team cultures.
• Ability to work across teams in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Ideally you will have experience using Microsoft GP financial system or equivalent and have familiarity with Raisers Edge or other CRM. A degree in finance, business administration or other related area or equivalent experience is required as well as and being a qualified CA, CPA or hold other relevant post-graduate qualification. The ideal candidate will have an ability to work both autonomously and constructively within a team and be aligned with WWF’s vision, mission and I-KODE Values.
