Women’s Safety Services SA has a Part time (0.6FTE) opportunity for a Domestic and Family Violence Specialist within their Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme.
This a fixed term contract role until 30 June 2020.
The Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme is a state-wide program that enables people to lodge a request where they are concerned about the behaviour of someone within the context of an intimate relationship. The DFV Specialist makes an initial assessment, facilitates the information with SAPOL and provides support and referrals to the clients. This role will cover the Adelaide metropolitan region as well as the Barossa and Fleurieu Peninsular and KI. Travel to other regions within South Australia as required.
Successful applicants will hold a Degree or Diploma in Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Services, Human Services, Health Sciences and /or experience commensurate with the position.
This position comes with an attractive package with the ability to salary sacrifice. Applicants will also need to be available for rostered out of hours on call duties.
Applicants will be expected to hold/apply for a DHS Working with Children check and a SAPOL clearance, and must hold a full driver's licence.
