The Role

In this role you will be responsible for the donor acquisition strategy for Regular and Single givers. You will manage a significant acquisition program across various channels including face to face, DRTV, digital and telemarketing across both Australia and New Zealand.

This is a critical role for World Animal Protection ANZ to provide a predictable income pipeline through acquisition working closely with our campaigns; marketing and fundraising teams to acquire quality donors. You will also have significant supplier management responsibility to achieve these targets.

You will be an experienced self-starter with excellent communication skills to share our compelling vision with new donors.

Responsibilities

  • Optimise and grow the Acquisition program to achieve and exceed budget income targets
  • Responsible for managing face to face, telemarketing, digital and DRTV channels to acquire new regular and single givers
  • Manage supplier performance reports and work with the suppliers in the development and improvement of performance
  • Manage online lead generation program, with external and internal teams including telemarketing agencies
  • Monitor the campaigns by measuring the quality of leads, calling and donor retention
  • Work closely with the digital team to develop new and innovative lead generation ideas to recruit regular givers via online channels

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years’ fundraising experience
  • Ability to analyse data and research to provide insights to develop strategies accordingly
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to develop and implement strategies and assess performance
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work across multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to build and develop internal and external relationships
  • Computer literate using Microsoft packages, eg Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and ability to analyse data and communicate results to others

Desirable

  • Degree in a Marketing discipline or Fundraising equivalent
  • Experience with Raisers Edge database / CRMs
  • Existing philanthropic networks experience
  • A passion for animals and the ability to convey World Animal Protection’s vision to donors and key stakeholders
