We are seeking an experienced counsellor/therapist with demonstrated competence in using a broad range of evidence-based counselling and group work approaches, excellent communication skills and understanding of domestic and family violence.
Relevant qualifications in Psychology or Counselling are essential.
The Therapeutic Facilitator/Counsellor – will provide high quality, trauma-informed therapeutic group facilitation and individual counselling with a focus on responding to the needs of women and children accessing DFV Crisis Accommodation and other WoSSCA services.
The position will design and oversee a therapeutic engagement program that will promote emotional recovery and self-care to women and their children accessing our services.
