The Manager, Supporter Design & Campaigns sits within our Retail Operations Team and is accountable for the operational execution of campaigns across 3 different retail channels, working in a team of 4 with 3 direct reports.  This role supports the retail channels by designing the supporter experience, planning channel communications, campaigns, training and development, capability and quality assurance to ensure delivery of Channels strategic goals and key result areas and financial outcomes.

Some of the Key Accountabilities include:

  • Develop marketing briefs on behalf of Channel Heads and support staff to deliver campaign requirements
  • Maintain channel activity plans and retail calendar across channels  
  • Develop communications strategy for frontline staff to have adequate information to perform within role for campaigns, change in process, supporter and business updates
  • Oversee the design of best practice BPPs for frontline staff according to the campaign calendar
  • Provide insights to Marketing, Field Impact on supporter feedback, supporter and frontline experience when developing campaigns
  • Oversee the development and execution of highly effective and engaging training programs
  • Develop fit for purpose training content for delivery to front line staff in fundraising environments to enable the achievement of channel income and non-income targets
  • Leading a team to effectively design / enhance and embed Channel Activity Plans and Best Practice Procedures in line with strategic / BAU changes to supporter enquiries across all channels
  • People plan developed, executed and reviewed on a quarterly basis to build capability & performance
  • Oversee call monitoring strategy, feedback and continual improvement
  • Develop mystery shopping strategy and manage vendors performance accordingly
  • Design process for communications to channels and frontline staff on changers to support experience, new programs and impacts

Who we are looking for…

  • Strong understanding of Channel operations, metrics and factors that influence them
  • Thorough understanding of marketing process, brief writing
  • Demonstrated experience in leading highly performing teams
  • Demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross functional teams
  • Understanding of Service Contact Centre Operating methodology highly desirable
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience of People Capability frameworks within the specialisation of Recruitment, Training and Adult learning and development
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, reporting and consulting skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Highly developed presentation and communication skills

This role is a permanent position operating in a full-time capacity and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria/state office.
