We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Learning Centre Director to lead and manage the early learning program within the Kurdu-Kurdu Kurlangu Child Care Centre in the remote community of Yuendumu, NT. World Vision Australia is working in partnership with the Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation (WYDAC) to re-build and deliver the childcare service for Warlpiri families in Yuendumu after a period of low utilisation and closure. The role operates in a full time contract until June 2023.
Reporting to the Early Childhood Care and Development Project Manager, your role will be to ensure that the program responds to the particular strengths and interests of Warlpiri children; the goals and aspirations of the local community and builds the capacity of a local early childhood workforce. The Child Care Centre is operational 7 hours a day for 48 weeks a year and delivers quality early childhood program in line with the national quality standards.
