We are now seeking expressions of interest from consultants willing to supports the evidence translation function, by making full use of our evidence for fundraising, external engagement, communications, strategy realisation and improving programme quality. The scope of works to a set budget/timeframe (approximately 5 months’ work).
Data Insights and Evidence Translation seeks to leverage evidence of impact by analysing existing data, drawing out insights, interpreting results, and explaining in simple terms what the evidence means to a variety of audiences, and how it can be appropriately used. Translation does not mean developing donor facing messaging or documents. It is an intermediary step of taking highly technical data or evidence and explaining or illustrating it clearly so that fundraisers, communicators and other staff can appropriately leverage and utilise the information.
The role of Data Insights and Evidence Translator is to analyse and interpret existing evidence – available through World Vision (WV)’s global databases and reporting systems – and draw out meaningful insights that can be summarised and/or made accessible and useful for internal stakeholders. This position supports the evidence translation function, by making full use of our evidence for fundraising, external engagement, communications, strategy realisation and improving programme quality.
