The ANCP Coordinator will coordinate and assist the WVA Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) processes, including reporting, management and updating of ANCP project cycle templates including the ANCP Handbook and internal Sharepoint pages such wvcentral.com ANCP pages.

The role will have four primary focuses:

  1. Coordination and planning for reporting across the portfolio of 30+ projects, including revising reporting templates in response to DFAT and WVA changes, providing guidance and managing the reporting development and submission processes
  2. Revision and development of ANCP templates and guidance which address donor and WVA compliance (such as donor branding, safeguarding, Counter terrorism and other risk management/safeguards), financial management and donor liaison requirements.
  3. Development of materials for in-country project teams such as for stand-up workshops and training modules that address donor and WVA compliance.
  4. Manage two internal SharePoint knowledge management/reference sites for ANCP related material 

Who we are looking for…

  • Understanding of procurement and processes of the Australian Government; particularly DFAT;
  • Experience implementing and supporting a grants portfolio, ANCP experience preferred;
  • Experience managing grants from the Australian Government or other bilateral or multilateral donors;
  • Training, resource development, capacity building;
  • Program management experience, including the development and communication of results;
  • Self-managed work experience, with ability to maintain focus and achieve outcomes under pressure;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications: International Relations/International Development, or a relevant technical field, Postgraduate qualifications, or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline, e.g. International Development, Economics, Public Health, Evaluation.

What you need to know

This role is a permanent position operating in a part-time capacity (22.5hrs/week) and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.
