Business Analyst - CRM Project

The position

The Business Analyst is responsible for a subset of the product features from concept to the end of the project. You will work with architects, product marketing and development teams to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met with each product release. You will be responsible for the design, usability, quality and delivery of assigned features.

The BA works with the Product Manager on priorities and design decisions and works to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle. You understand both the engineering and business side of the product release and are ultimately responsible for representing the end user’s needs.

Your role plays an integral part in the organisation, enabling us to support our mission of empowering Australians to create meaningful change for the world’s most vulnerable children and adults.

This is a contract role until September 2022.

In addition to this you will:

  • Attend daily stand ups to ensure project tasks are on track and to provide input if required to the technical team
  • Attend and/or present demonstrations of the system and capture any requirements or queries raised by the different business teams attending the demonstration
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to capture requirements, refine and prioritise for the project backlog
  • Provide verbal and written updates to relevant stakeholders as required
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the new system
  • Lead and facilitate requirements workshops with stakeholders to capture key requirements
  • Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams
  • Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision for the product and are designing great features for the business

Who we’re looking for 

As the successful applicant, you will have a few years CRM experience, great enthusiasm, creativity and interpersonal skills.

In addition:

  • Have experience with designing and/or verifying software solutions
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams
  • Be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • The ability to prioritise and communicate to stakeholders the key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organisation/project goals
  • Able to present well-informed and researched data and information for decision-making purposes that impact people positively
  • Have experience with Dynamics 365 CRM or Dynamics FnO - advantageous
  • Be tertiary qualified – Degree-level business/computer science/engineering/software qualifications preferred
