The position

Reporting to the Head of Gifts in Wills, we are seeking a Gifts in Wills Officer to support the Team in the identification and relationship management of World Vision Australia (WVA) supporters who have made, or expressed an interest in making, a gift in their Will to WVA.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Engagement: to be a ‘first point of contact’ for both external and internal stakeholders in relation to gifts in Wills related enquiries, and recording information as appropriate in relevant databases
  • Promotion: raising awareness of gifts in wills through marketing campaigns and responding to requests for information
  • Cultivation: influencing and managing supporters who have, or are considering, a gift to World Vision Australia in their wills, for conversion and retention
  • Administration: liaison with both internal and external stakeholders on deceased supporter Estates for the realisation of funds to WVA

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Proven professional relationship management experience
  • Experience working with a wide variety of supporter types, including high net worth individuals, key decision makers and senior management
  • Strong business skills with an ability to identify strategic and valuable opportunities for other areas of the business
  • Good time management and administrative skills
