We work through local Christian partnerships overseas to bring lasting change to communities; particularly to vulnerable children, disempowered women and those excluded from their communities.

The Role

The Supporter Engagement Coordinator is the first port of call for WorldShare supporters, providing essential customer care. This role is responsible for facilitating a supporter experience that is positive, efficient, timely and engaging.

The Supporter Engagement Coordinator helps new and existing supporters connect deeply with WorldShare and its international partners through prayer, giving, learning and visiting. This role will develop and manage existing and potential supporter and Church relationships.

About You

First and foremost, you are passionate about God’s call to care for the outcast and forgotten around the world.

You are WorldShare - the first point of contact between us and our supporters! Showing our love and gratitude through outstanding customer service will be key to the success of this role, as well as the ability to develop and grow meaningful relationships with our supporters.

You are a people person and thrive on listening and making real connections, while being able to resolve any queries or issues in a timely and professional manner. You will also possess excellent communication skills in all forms, be highly organised and have a team-based, get on with the job, positive attitude.

You have demonstrated experience in thinking strategically and will be able to use this to develop and implement ways of creating and adapting our supporter offerings and services to ensure growth, retention and supporter satisfaction.

You will be passionate about our vision and mission, driven to work with our supporters in order for hope and life to be restored to the most marginalised around the world, in the name of Jesus.

Exposure to aid and development would be an advantage but the right attitude and fit with our culture is essential.

Previous experience in account management and customer service is preferred.
