Are you a dynamic leader, passionate about inspiring Australians to partner in God’s call to transform lives and restore hope around the world? Are you a strategic and driven relationship builder and communicator? Do you thrive in building teams and making impact?
If so, this could be the job for you!
We pursue our mission by connecting Australians with the work of our overseas ministry partners, so that they can provide financial support, volunteer their time and pray for the ministries.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the experience of our fantastic supporters as they partner with WorldShare. Driving acquisition and retention, you will lead the Supporter Engagement team to inspire individuals and churches to financially support our overseas ministry partners. You will work collaboratively with the team to implement and track engagement activities and communications.
You will strategically manage our various programs, such as sponsorship, major gifts, bequest, volunteer and events, integrating WorldShare supporter engagement, fundraising, marketing and communication initiatives.
You will help identify and build relationships with significant stakeholders and drive partnership development of our innovative new business model, WorldShare Connect.
You will have the opportunity to build upon effective systems and processes recently implemented, through which we’ve seen great improvements in our supporter engagement and financial growth. It’s a great starting point for you to be able to take the team even further and make strategic impact.
When you join WorldShare, you will lead a motivated and ambitious team, and play a critical role in transforming lives of vulnerable people overseas.
For over 75 years, WorldShare has existed to transform lives and restore hope around the world, by connecting Australians with people in need overseas, so that together, we love like Jesus.
We are a Christian aid and development organisation which embraces God’s mission to help and love those in need, particularly the most vulnerable and marginalised. We share God’s love and empower the outcast and forgotten through education, training and improved health outcomes, so they can have hope for the future.
We work through local Christian partnerships in Africa and Asia to bring lasting change to communities; particularly to vulnerable children, disempowered women and those excluded from their communities. We hope you’ll join us in this mission.
