About the Role

As a Disability Employment Coach, you will make a difference in the lives of our customers with a disability by creating person-centred case management for eligible participants. This will involve assessing and evaluating their job plan to maintain an ongoing focus on gaining employment. You will be required to build and maintain relationships with employers and broker suitable employment for our customers.

This role is being offered on a full time, ongoing basis, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

The role will require a genuine passion for working with those in need, an ability to meet individual targets and contribute to a strong site team.

You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice. About You

To be successful in the role you must:

  • Be able to build effective relationships with customers and employers;
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrate negotiation and advocacy to secure customised employment for job seekers with a disability;
  • Demonstrate strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite with the ability to type a minimum of 30 wpm; 
  • Prove your ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; 
  • Hold a current drivers’ licence; and
  • Have a minimum Certificate IV in Disability/Employment Services or equivalent.
  • Any previous experience working in the Service or in Disability Employment Services industry will be highly regarded.
