WorkLawyers is an applicant-focussed small firm, comprising 2 solicitors and 3 paralegal staff. We mainly do employment law but also do some contract, serious personal injury, defamation, and general advice matters.

We are looking for an admitted solicitor with at least 2-3 years PQE or with a similar level of advocacy experience who is recently admitted or about to be. You will assist and take carriage of matters in our existing caseload, mainly in the FWC, HRC, FCFCA, FCA , NSWDC, and NSWIRC.

The position is offered on a casual or part-time basis 2-3 days per week plus regular extra hours to manage peaks in work and with a view to converting to full-time down the track.

We are looking for someone who can handle swearing in the office, dealing with competing and occasionally crushing deadlines, and the big-end of town lawyers without too much angst.

If you work well in a fast-paced environment, where you will be expected to know your stuff (sooner rather than later) and get outcomes for clients without drama, this role is for you.
