Rural Workforce Agency NT (RWA NT) are partnering with Gorge Health to find an experienced General Practitioner to join their passionate team in their Katherine clinic.

Gorge Health takes great pride in looking after the health of their local people and specialises in preventative health care, hosts visiting specialists from a range of disciplines including audiology, podiatry, psychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and more.

As the successful General Practitioner you will have with flexibility in how you manage your hours and patient list and you will work alongside a talented and dedicated team. Bringing your previous experience to see better health outcomes, as well as having an opportunity to learn new skills, you will be able to immerse yourself into your new role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary health care for individuals and families
• Provide excellent quality healthcare, whilst being culturally aware of diverse backgrounds
• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues to provide optimal care
• Promote and encourage preventative healthcare

What Do You Need To Apply?

• Evidence of full working rights within Australia
• AHPRA registration as a General practitioner
• Ideally the successful candidate will be vocationally registered as a GP, with RACGP or ACRRM
• Ability to provide supervision as set out by AHPRA and the RACGP is highly regarded
• General Practice consultation skills with knowledge of Family Practice
• Medical indemnity insurance
• Current Police and working with children clearance
• Current Driver's License
