ABOUT WOMEN’S HEALTH WEST

Women’s Health West (WHW) provides specialist family violence services to women and their children. We also run prevention programs that promote equity and justice for women and girls in Melbourne’s west. WHW is one of Victoria’s only organisations that provides services and programs that encompass the family violence continuum - from primary prevention, to early intervention and response.

Our work has actively contributed to improving the health, safety and wellbeing of women and their children in the western metropolitan region of Melbourne since 1988.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The intensive case manager roles at Women's Health West are responsible for providing client-focused, intensive case management support to women with multiple and complex needs experiencing family violence in the western metropolitan region. As a senior worker, the intensive case manager works closely with Women's Health West's integrated family violence services staff. This role will specialise in case managing women with disabilities, and will provide advice and secondary consultation regarding best practice in supporting women with multiple and complex needs.

This role also works closely with external services including Victoria Police, partner agencies and community services and plays a key role in developing the capacity of these services to respond to women with high support needs experiencing or escaping from family violence.

This position is a maternity leave relief position and is available for the fixed term of 12 months at EFT 0.9. The role reports to Team Leader – Outreach, and is paid at WHW EA Level 5, pay point 3 (80K per annum pro rata EFT 0.9).
