Women’s Health West provides specialist family violence services to women and their children. We also run prevention programs that promote equity and justice for women and girls in Melbourne’s west.

Our work has actively contributed to improving the health, safety and wellbeing of women and their children in the western metropolitan region of Melbourne since 1988. We are very excited to be calling for applications for the role of Administrative Support Worker.

About the role

Using excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, the administrative support worker provides administrative and clerical support primarily to the director of integrated family violence services, and also the family violence managers. They will manage telephone and video calls, correspondence, filing systems and assistance in diary management. The role will also work closely with the CEO and executive assistant, and contribute to a wide range of meetings with internal and external stakeholders. The role involves liaison with a diverse range of people, including WHW staff, representatives from government departments, peak bodies and not-for-profit organisations.

The role reports to Director – Integrated Family Violence Services and is available in a part-time capacity (0.8 EFT), on an ongoing basis contingent on funding (CFCE). The role is paid at WHW EA level 3, pay point negotiable dependent on experience (61K to 65K per annum pro rata EFT).

All appointments are made subject to the candidate providing a current satisfactory National Police Certificate conducted by the Victoria Police and a working with children check.
