Womens Health & Family Services specialises in women’s health issues, providing medical, counselling, alcohol and other drug support, domestic violence, mental health and other health services for women and their families.  The programs and services at Womens Health & Family Services are open to all West Australian women and their families, with consideration made for the unique needs of Aboriginal, migrant and refugee families.

Womens Health & Family Services is a seeking motivated Counsellor with experience and qualifications for Counselling and Support Services to deliver counselling services to women. This position will be based in Joondalup.

This position is initially part time for 3 days per week with the potential to become a full-time position. The salary range is initially pro-rata of $79,248 to $82,836 p.a. dependent on experience, and superannuation with attractive salary sacrifice entitlements in a dynamic family friendly organisation.

This position is responsible to the Counselling and Support Services Coordinator. The role involves providing counselling support by way of providing in house and outreach client centered counselling to women with complex issues and their families, provide therapeutic and support groups that encourage self-development, self-awareness and personal skills and to provide educational and/or health information/advocacy for target groups.
