Woden Community Service Supported Tenancy Service (STS) works with people whose tenancy is at risk (Tenancy Support) or who are facing barriers in establishing a private tenancy (Housing Options).

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for leading and supporting a professional team, focusing on on-going improvement of services to people facing tenancy issues, taking an early support and strength-based approach.

This Service is a true partnership between Woden Community Service, Capital Region Community Service, and YWCA Canberra.

You will foster and sustain positive working relationships and networks with the community, private and government agencies. As part of the Woden Community Service management team, you will also collaborate with services across the organisation to ensure the best support for your clients.

  • Full-time fixed term position (38 hours per week to 30 June 2023). Possible extension dependent on funding availability
  • Annual salary between $92,999 – $97,114 depending on qualifications and experience plus 10% superannuation

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification relevant to the role
  • Knowledge of and experience in the housing and homeless sector
  • Qualifications and/or experience in leadership/management is highly desirable
