    This is an exciting role working across both Woden Community Service (WCS) OneLink and the Child and Youth Protection Service (CYPS). WCS is in partnership with CYPS to facilitate community support to assist families divert from the statutory child protection system through consistent, high quality and responsive support facilitation.

    If you have experience working in a trauma informed and strengths based framework, and hold tertiary qualifications, this is an opportunity to make a difference for young people and families in our community.

    About the role

    • Assist in the diversion of children, young people and their families from the statutory child and youth protection system
    • Case consultation role to OneLink on matters where there is child abuse and neglect
    • Build the child protection and youth justice expertise within OneLink, Housing ACT and other non-government organisations
    • Cross sector coordination role between OneLink, CYFSP and CYPS

    Experience and skills

    • Degree in Social Work or a related field.
    • Experience working in child protection area and/or with families/young people.
    • Use strengths based practises, person centred approaches and trauma informed practise.

    To be eligible for employment, you must have working rights in Australia, a current ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration and a National Police Check.
