We have an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and experienced person to join our highly reputable community services organisation within the Social Support Program. The Volunteer Coordinator will work flexibly across the metropolitan region to lead and support a team of volunteers to deliver Uniting’s Telelink program. The Volunteer Coordinator will be integral in embedding the principles of wellness and reablement into the Telelink program. The Telelink program is a phone based social support service, with a focus on supporting older people experiencing isolation engage in topical conversation or activities of interest within a group setting.

We're looking for motivated people who have a genuine interest in and commitment to working with vulnerable people in our community. You will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services or equivalent and preferred experience working with volunteers and older people. Empathy, resilience, outstanding personal qualities and a preference for working within a collaborative team environment are qualities that will succeed in the role.
