About the opportunity

We have an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and experienced person to join our highly reputable community services organisation within the Social Support Program.  Drawing upon wellness and reablement principles, we support older people and people with disabilities to live their best lives.  The Volunteer Coordinator will work flexibly, primarily across the North/West Metropolitan region, to lead a team of volunteers who support our 1 to 1 visiting program. The role supports Volunteers to work with the consumer in realising their social support goals.

About you

We're looking for motivated people who have a genuine interest in and commitment to working with vulnerable people in our community. You will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services or equivalent and preferably experience working with volunteers and people who are isolated. Outstanding communication skills, empathy, resilience and a collaborative mindset are qualities that will see you succeed in the role.
