About the opportunity

We have outstanding opportunities for passionate and experienced people to work with a highly reputable and iconic community services organisation. This Social Support program facilitates both 1 to 1 consumer/volunteer connections, as well as volunteer-led special interest consumer groups. The Team Leader will also be integral in embedding the principles of wellness and reablement, ensuring the team retains a focus on supporting older people to engage in social activities of their choice.

About you

We're looking for motivated people who have a genuine interest in and commitment to working with vulnerable people in our community. You will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services or equivalent and experience working in an aged care setting. Empathy, resilience, outstanding personal qualities and a preference for working within a collaborative team environment are qualities that will succeed in the role.
