The Family Preservation and Reunification Response Program is a new innovative approach to delivering relational, therapeutic, evidence-informed intervention support to vulnerable children and families in partnership with Child Protection. The program aims to prevent at risk children and young people from entering or re-entering care and also supports children and young people currently in care to safely reunify with their family where possible.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will provide intensive wraparound case management services to the most complex challenging families, who present with multiple demands. Working closely with the Team Leader, the Senior Practitioner will provide coaching and mentoring support to FPR Practitioners in high-risk cases. The role will also supervise the Youth Support and Advocacy Practitioner and undertake higher duties during the Team Leader’s leave.
To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a degree qualification in social work, psychology or a child and family welfare related discipline.
