About the opportunity

The Senior Leader Business Development will report to the Executive General Manager of Operations and as a member of the Operations Leadership Team will support the division in developing innovative new service models, diversifying business, increasing a diversified revenue base and building service sustainability and growth across Uniting.

Uniting Operations team structure comprises four business groups and work across Victoria and Tasmania to provide effective and high-quality service to the community.

This position will play a key role to develop and support implementation of growth strategies and plans, and identify business opportunities by working collaboratively with key staff across Divisions to lead tenders and submissions.

About you

The ideal candidate brings commercial depth and service innovation to the Operations Leadership Teams and in doing so develops short and long-term business development goals and objectives.

With an extensive experience in business development, you have proven ability to partner with and influence stakeholders, excellent communication skills and work effectively and positively within a large and complex organisation. Your commercial and business acumen skills will help you successfully design and implement new service models and develop business opportunities.

In addition, you hold a tertiary qualification in human/community services and/or public administration.
