As a Residential Practitioner, you will play a key role in the lives of young people currently living in residential services, supporting them to live safely within our houses and accompanying them on outings. It’s hands-on, often challenging, but can also be rewarding. You will help create an environment that promotes positive respect and provides care that meets a young person's needs.
You will receive a comprehensive induction and mentoring program to support your transition into the role and ensure your success. Our program operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shifts include 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm, and a sleepover shift from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm - sleep - 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
In addition to the base hourly rate and superannuation, you’ll also receive 25% casual loading. You can also increase your take-home pay by accessing salary packaging benefits, which can be used for living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and more.

You will bring with you a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant recognised qualification. If you are currently completing your qualification or about to commence study in this area – talk to us, we may be able to support you.
