About the opportunity

The Bayside Peninsula Integrated Family Violence Partnership (BPIFVP) provides strategic leadership to drive effective responses to family violence and support Victoria’s family violence reforms. The model brings together various local family violence services into a partnership arrangement, to create a more integrated approach to family violence.

As a Project Officer, you will work closely with the Principal Strategic Advisor to support the development, coordination and implementation of projects undertaken by the BPIFVP. In particular, the Project Officer will deliver the Intersectional Capacity Building (ICB) MARAM Project, which will embed and promote ICB resources and provide tools for integrating them into practice. The Project Officer will also work with key stakeholders to develop new resources and content for the SouthSafe website.

About you

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a tertiary qualification in family violence or a related field. Qualifications in project management would be advantageous.

You will also have:

  • Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to scope, plan and implement projects within required timeframes and budgets
  • Demonstrated experience within the family violence sector
  • An understanding of MARAM, Intersectionality and broader family violence reforms
  • Proven ability to establish collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Well-developed writing skills, with the ability to develop effective processes, tools and resources
