We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated, technically strong and skilled payroll leader to join our leading community services organisation. The role sits within a close working Payroll and HR department. The Payroll Manager is responsible for leading a strong and capable team who complete all end-to-end functions, processing for both weekly and fortnightly pay groups. The Payroll Manager is also responsible for management and oversight of all payroll operations, reconciliation and analysis of payroll data, meeting statutory compliance and being a source of advice and counsel for payroll related functions and processes.
You have the natural ability to lead and influence a team with a hands-on approach, as well as oversee the full end to end payroll for 4000+ employees in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of payroll compliance as well as Modern Awards and other state and industry legislation will see you succeed in this role.
You are an experienced and highly organised payroll professional, a self-starter, with a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail, a problem solver who is willing to take on any task necessary. In a practical sense, you will have:
