About the opportunity

Uniting are embarking on a new Early Intervention Psychosocial Support Response (EIPSR) program. The EIPSR will be leading a new way of supporting individuals experiencing mental health issues.  The program will support individuals in their personal recovery journey, work towards their goals and establish or re-establish community connections.

This exciting new role, working collaboratively with all stakeholders, will deliver recovery-oriented, evidence based psychosocial support to individuals in the community.

About you

To be successful in this role you will hold a relevant degree, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Psychology or equivalent qualification.

You will bring:

  • Experience in the delivery of community mental health services
  • Demonstrated skills in working in partnerships which may include clinical mental health
  • Outstanding skills in working collaboratively with clients, families, colleagues, stakeholders and other service providers
  • Understanding of recovery frameworks and the social model of health
  • Experience of the public and private health sector and knowledge of mental health services
  • The ability to apply relevant legislation, related policy and awareness of current trends.
