About the opportunity

Exciting opportunity to be involved in establishing a home support service with Uniting. This role manages incoming enquires and referrals for clients seeking home support services such as allied health, nursing, personal care, domestic assistance, home maintenance and home modification. The role involves assessing client’s needs and arranging appropriate services to help older people to remain living at home.

About you

We are looking for a person who can demonstrate:

  • You have well developed customer service skills and knowledge of Aged Care services. 
  • Strong telephone-based communication skills and computer skills are essential.
  • Ideally you have a relevant certificate IV qualification in Aged Care or demonstrate equivalent expertise or work experience within Aged Care or community services.
  • Alignment with Uniting’s values
  • Strong customer service focus and work ethic
  • Ability to develop rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Confidence and experience in using a Client Information System
  • Proficient in using MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills as well as great attention to detail
