About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Child Youth and Family Services team. This pivotal role supports the Family Preservation and Reunification program and Inner East Integrated Family Services Program through efficient office administration, financial tasks, and general support.

As an Administration Officer, you will:

  • Manage telephone calls, messages, and staff movement records.
  • Handle invoices, acquittals, and petty cash.
  • Assist with car/room bookings, general office duties, and file management.
  • Support meetings with logistics, including invitations, room bookings, and minutes.
  • Oversee fleet vehicle maintenance and archiving processes.
  • Maintain team calendars and assist with staff events and recognitions.
  • Reconcile client brokerage records and prepare end-of-month reports.
  • Provide general program and project support as required.

About you

You will have a Certificate in Business Administration or relevant experience. You will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative roles (essential)
  • Experience in a human services organisation (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision and under pressure
  • Ability to problem solve and effectively manage feedback
