Wesley Mission has a long and proud history as a premier out-of-home care provider in NSW. We have an exciting opportunity across the Central Coast area.

The Wesley Dalmar Foster Care team at Gosford and Tuggerah is looking for a dynamic enthusiastic, Program Support Assistant and Front Counter Receptionist.

This role has a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders and supporting the Foster Care programme at Gosford.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • provide overall effective office management, which supports all staff within the Wesley Dalmar Out of Home Care office
  • ensure that tasks are performed efficiently, professionally and within deadlines set by the Program Manager
  • maintain effective systems in order to maintain an efficient reception area and administration system, including reception duties
  • regularly review and develop systems as required to maintain and manage all databases, files, reports, forms and payments.

Essential criteria

  • demonstrated experience/ability in front office reception
  • office administration (including computer) skills
  • demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
  • professional telephone manner
  • ability to relate empathetically to the needs of disadvantaged people and those operating in crisis
  • good organisational skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • driver's licence.

Desirable criteria

  • previous experience in the out-of-home care field
  • First Aid Certificate
  • relevant qualification.

Remuneration

The agency provides regular supervision and support for all staff and opportunities for professional development. Salary and conditions of employment are based on the Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (SCHADS), Level 3 Pay Point 1.
