Wesley Mission is a high profile, multi-faceted Christian organisation making a real difference in the community. Our Vision is “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”
The Commonwealth Government is funding this new pilot program as part of its $1.1 billion commitment in the 2021-22 Federal Budget to help end violence against women and children. Wesley Mission will lead this pilot program in NSW and the ACT.
The Escaping Violence Payment (EVP) program will provide assistance for individuals wanting to leave a violent partner. This includes financial assistance, along with goods, services, and any assistance they may need to establish a safe place to live.
We are looking for a Program Administrator who is conscientious, reliable and motivated about making a difference. As Program Administrator, you will be working with team leaders, caseworkers and support workers who practise a trauma-informed and client-centred casework model supporting women and children escaping violence.
Our vision at Wesley Communities is to be the best we can be in a harmonious and supportive workplace. All staff work hard to develop and maintain harmonious working relationships in an autonomous and friendly work environment. Wesley Communities has a career development pathway to ensure all staff have access to professional training and on-the-job opportunities to grow and develop their skills.
