Mums & Kids Matter is a Wesley Mission program that supports mothers living with stable and managed mental illness by promoting healthy attachment, building parenting skills as well as psychosocial skills.
We are looking for Nursing Assistants with experience working with vulnerable families. The candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team that delivers a 24-hour residential service as well as in-house community service across NSW.
As a member of a larger multidisciplinary team, your key role will be supporting mothers and children by providing assistance with living skills, parenting skills and mental health promotion. This will include transporting clients to scheduled appointments, child minding and supporting mothers and facilitators during individual and group sessions.
The salary range for this position is based on the SCHADS award Level 1-3, depending on qualifications and experience.
