About the role

You thoroughly enjoy payroll work, have exceptional attention to detail, are well able to work to strict timelines and maintain confidentiality around pay-related matters.

Working with the Payroll team you will provide best practice payroll services, ensuring accurate and on-time pay processing. You will check pay results of employees to ensure remuneration is in line with the relevant industrial instruments and will support senior team members with payroll system processes, including calculating pay results, generating reports, and finalising the payroll and banking of wages.

Essential skills/knowledge

  • comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Payroll services
  • strong working knowledge of payroll systems
  • excellent knowledge and experience of award and agreement interpretation
  • excellent time-management skills
  • two years’ experience in a similar role.

Desirable skills/knowledge

  • experience working in a for-purpose organisation.
