Wesley Mission’s ParentsNext (WMPN) model has been developed on the framework used by Wesley’s child, youth and family support programs and is therefore intentionally unique and distinct from other ParentsNext programs.
WMPN program works within the departmental guidelines and key performance indicators, our Consultants deliver a strength based, client-centred case work model supporting parents to identify their personal training and employment goals, providing an individualised approach to help parents address barriers to their goals and link them to a wide range of supportive services within their community. One of the main aims of the program is to ensure each family is connected into their community.
To deliver this unique service, the role of the ParentsNext Consultant is distinctly different from other providers and as such Wesley Mission’s Consultants receive a significantly higher remuneration package. Expectations are commensurate with the higher remuneration package and each role is outlined in the table below.
Wesley Mission’s ParentsNext program has a staged career development pathway and succession plan to ensure Consultants have access to professional training and on-the-job opportunities to grow and develop their skills.
