About the role

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Officer – Ministry & Events, the Events Officer is a dynamic hands-on role that takes responsibility across all aspects of event management for successful delivery of events. You will enjoy utilising your full spectrum of events experience to make a difference as you work alongside a passionate team in this varied and fast-paced role.

• strong experience managing budgets & collating reports
• experience supporting senior leaders and anticipating needs
• experience working in a fast-paced environment
• experience in managing internal, external stakeholders and working groups to achieve set objectives
• proven organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• thorough attention to detail
• outstanding interpersonal skills; flexible, patient and ability to relate well to all levels of society with which Wesley Mission interacts
• an understanding of the Australian Christian landscape
• proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
