About us

Wesley Mission is a high profile, multi-faceted Christian organisation making a real difference in the community. Our Vision is “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”

About the role

The purpose of this role is to use the data to develop asset management plans and programs of works that solve real problems and deliver solutions that are feasible, viable and desirable for Wesley Mission.

Wesley Mission is a 200-year-old not for profit organisation with a wide range of interesting assets that need to be planned and managed to support the future of Wesley Mission. To enable this Wesley Mission has built a predicative modelling platform that is transforming and empowering the delivery of maintenance and capital investment solutions to Wesley Mission.

This role is not just about technology, people or process - it’s about all three. At Wesley Mission, we think about predictive modelling, the way we program property maintenance and how we use our gigabytes of component data to create a steady program of works to generate individual asset management plans that cumulatively give them a ‘fit for purpose’ property portfolio.

Our core philosophy for this role is to “plan and program” this year and “do” the next year. This means consulting the data not just filesharing, so as an organisation, the plans are fully simulated and tested before any building work is undertaken. This role is part of a full Asset Management team where we work collaboratively, innovatively and continually learning together, this role stands in the centre of this team, not apart.

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess the following:

Demonstrated behaviours

  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and work collaboratively as an effective team player with a positive can-do attitude
