West Kimberley Futures – Empowered Communities (WKFEC) is responsible for spearheading the Empowered Communities reform program in the West Kimberley region, facilitating a strategy of change to improve outcomes for West Kimberley Aboriginal people and increase the profile of their issues throughout all levels of government. WKFEC partners with governments to shape policy and strategy and make shared decisions about policy approaches and funding allocations directed at improving outcomes for Aboriginal people. Its strategy is built on the foundation that in order for any reform to effectively meet the values and needs of Aboriginal people, it must be Aboriginal-led.

Your primary responsibility within the role will be to lead and facilitate the implementation of the Partnership Agreement between NIAA and WKFEC, taking primary responsibility for deliverables and actions in the Joint Delivery Plan.

WKEFC is after candidates who possess significant experience in a senior management role with knowledge of developing strategic, business and operational plans in conjunction with the capacity to manage budgets and oversee financial reporting.
