WISHIN is a specialist women’s homelessness and family violence organisation that provides support services to women across six local government areas in the north of Melbourne. Each year we support up to 600 women and children who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness and/or family violence.
A community where all women and children are safe, empowered and thrive.
Partner with women to support their safety, increase their independence and enable them to thrive.
WISHIN’s trauma-informed practice provides holistic wrap-around support that acknowledges the complexity of issues women and children face in their lives. Run by women, for women, WISHIN provides a safe and compassionate service for overcoming trauma and getting lives back on track.
WISHIN is currently recruiting for multiple board roles that will support us to pursue our strategic goals.
