Digital Content & Campaign Specialist

WIRES has been rescuing and caring for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife for over 35 years. WIRES' mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife and inspire others to do the same. WIRES priorities include increasing national rescue and rehabilitation capacity, improving emergency wildlife response capability, and supporting species and habitat recovery projects.


This role is focused on meeting the graphic design and visual content needs of the marketing team and organisation at large, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to develop creative concepts and produce design work across digital, print and branding projects. The Design Content & Campaign Specialist will uphold and champion the WIRES brand across all channels, helping WIRES to increase engagement, improve long-term relationships and increase fundraising income to expand our services for wildlife.

The role is a 12 month full-time contract, with the potential for extension.

The role is expected to be a hybrid mix of working from the office in Brookvale and working remotely.


  • Develop unique digital content and assets and support an evolving content development and optimisation plan
  • Maintain a content marketing schedule which incorporates a variety of content types and mediums
  • Manage an integrated campaign marketing & communications schedule
  • Develop and execute targeted digital campaigns that engage and appeal to various segments
  • Manage campaign key conversion points in the marketing funnel, including landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs) and lead-generation forms
  • Maintain brand and design assets across the organisation


  • You are a digital marketer at heart, and know how to create compelling content to different users and customer segments
  • You understand content production requirements to support both organic and paid content promotion
  • You love creating compelling and unique design for use across all marketing assets and channels
  • You take a results focused approach want to get the best outcome from each campaign
  • In collaboration with the wider team, you thrive on developing, implementing, and managing innovative campaigns to acquire new supporters and deepen supporter engagement.
