Wintringham is a not-for-profit organisation providing an extensive range of aged care, housing and related support services to men and women aged 50-plus who have been homeless or at risk of homelessness. We employ over 800 staff and operate from multiple offices across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Supported by the Clinical Services Manager, Wintringham’s dynamic and highly skilled Clinical Care Team provides support to our residential, community and From Homelessness to a Home (H2H) program ensuring that residents and clients receive high quality services that meet their health care needs. Our Clinical Care Team are an integral part of our operations systems and play a vital role in the assessment delivery and review of care to clients with complex needs.
You are an RN1 who enjoys working across a variety of aged care settings including residential and community. You want to be challenged in your daily work as well as developing new ideas and looking at things from different perspectives.
We are currently seeking a RN1 with enthusiasm, experience and a sense of curiosity to join our Clinical Care Team. In this fast paced and hands on role, you will be required to travel to Wintringham’s residential sites, community sites and client’s homes located throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria, therefore, a current drivers licence and appropriate motor vehicle are mandatory. As a key ‘go to’ person for site based nursing staff, you will have an excellent understanding of current best practice guidelines and be confident in providing advice and guidance.

The successful applicant must be a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with experience in Aged Care (either residential or community) and current AHRPA Registration. A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment as well as experience with palliative, wound or continence management would be ideal. Successful applicants will be required to undergo a NDIS Screening Check and Police Records check. Refusal to provide your information to both of these parties will prevent Wintringham from being able to continue with your application. Applicants must undergo the NDIS Screening Check at their own expense, however, Wintringham will cover the expense associated with obtaining a Police Records check.
