Iconic community-based palliative care organisation invites EOI from trusted, energetic & engaging leaders responsive to contemporary NFP/community services.

For almost 30 years, this high-profile Brisbane based not for profit has offered responsive and holistic, in-home palliative care and support for its clients and their carers. Guided by Buddhist principles, this organisation has developed proven models of care and education and supporter/volunteer programs. It is committed to ongoing improvement and quality of outcomes.

The support team includes a dynamic CEO, skilled and strategic Board, nurse-based operations teams and dedicated, specialist support staff and compassionate carers. A strategic plan is in place and the organisation is financially stable with a future focus on long-term sustainability, serving more people and broadening and strengthening its revenue streams.

Regular engagement with CEO/Board members and key stakeholders, facilitating open and constructive communication, would be required in this leadership role. • setting the tone promoting and monitoring the organisation’s culture
  • high level commercial acumen + accounting skills
  • high energy and a propensity to become deeply absorbed in ‘your’ cause
  • insight into the community services sector with the appropriate networks
  • demonstrated NFP knowledge, in particular fundraising through deferred giving

If you are passionate about the significance of in-home palliative care services and its contribution to the community and are comfortable committing time and dedication to a long-term tenure as Chair of this influential Board, please forward your application without delay.
