Our new Koori Engagement Worker will play a key role in engaging with and making a positive difference in our Koori community especially when it comes to supporting children and families to recover from traumatic incidents so they can lead a better life.
We currently have 2 vacancies including a part-time (0.8 FTE) role based in Bairnsdale and a full-time role (1.0 FTE) based in our head office in Narre Warren. As our Koori Engagement Worker, you will represent the Koori community within the Gippsland region and / or South East of Victoria and and share your cultural knowledge to support the design and implementation of our community education program. Both positions are fixed term until June 2021 with the possibility of a contract extension.
To be successful in this position you must identify as a member of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
