Windermere’s Early Childhood Intervention Practitioners (ECIPs) provide services to children aged 0-7 years who have a disability or developmental delay. As a registered service provider under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and with more than 20 years’ of service delivery experience, a dynamic team ready for change and market presence in some of Australia’s fastest growing regions, Windermere are in a prime position for NDIS success. About The Role

We are currently seeking a permanent full-time ECIP to join the Early Intervention Therapy Services (EITS) team. As an ECIP, you will utilise the Key Worker model to provide a range of targeted early childhood therapy services to children aged 0-7 years. Your core focus will include:

  • working in partnership with families in the natural environment to encourage children’s active participation in everyday routines;
  • helping children to learn new skills by developing meaningful goals and providing strategies that are comprehensive and well-planned;
  • delivering flexible and personalised therapy that is fundamental to children’s specific needs, and
  • aiding consumers to navigate complex service systems to identify appropriate information and support.

Due to COVID-19, Windermere has developed a hybrid model of working including working remotely from home and meeting with consumers within our offices in Berwick, Cranbourne and Pakenham. Once restrictions are further relaxed we will return to delivering service in natural settings like childcare, kinder, school and home.

About You

You will be tertiary qualified in Early Childhood Education and will have demonstrated experience working with children with additional needs in an education setting as well as having worked collaboratively with Early Intervention or Allied Health Practitioners. You are organised, adaptable and enterprising in your practice. You are open to change, embrace feedback and work collaboratively with others. You can think on your feet and make decisions quickly. You appreciate continuous quality improvement and thrive in an environment which provides you with the opportunity to work autonomously as well as part of a high performing team.
