WHOS has opened a new service in Goulburn for people with AOD use and co-occurring conditions. Mandala House is a residential treatment service based on the Therapeutic Community model.

WHOS is looking for full-time, part-time, and casual AOD Workers to join this exciting new service. The role involves:

• assessment, referral, and education,
• supervising and supporting clients in a residential setting,
• implementing a structured daily program (which includes facilitating various process and educational groups),
• conducting therapeutic interventions.

Essential Criteria

• Certificate IV or higher in community services, AOD, mental health (or similar)
• Experience working with clients that have AOD use disorders and/or associated issues
• Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation strategies
• Ability to work evening and weekend shifts, if required (please indicate any preference to work such shifts on an ongoing basis)

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in facilitating groups
• Experience in residential therapeutic community treatment services

Remuneration

• Remuneration - SCHADS Award Level 4
• Salary packaging is available
