WHOS strives to ensure that initiatives aimed at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are culturally appropriate. This position will focus on strong communication around the cultural needs and priorities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women clients as well as building relationships between WHOS and the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and related organisations. The role is one of two identified roles at WHOS Lilyfield that forms the Engagement Team.
This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified position (an applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, NSW). This is a specific role for a woman to work with the women in our services.
Remuneration negotiable based on experience and qualifications and according to award conditions. Up to date COVID vaccination is required.
