An exciting new management position has been established at WCC to better manage the recent growth in the organisation and enable us to progress our strategic directions, develop existing programs and invest in place based community engagement activities and priority groups.

The Manager, Engagement and Multicultural Communities will play a vital role within WCC leading two critical areas of work;

• Community Engagement – leading place based community initiatives including Mernda Community House and Whittlesea Food Collective and initiating engagement activities in new growth areas, and with particular cohorts.

• Multicultural Communities - leading a range of programs that provide newly-arrived migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum access to information, referral, casework, advocacy, group-work, language and employment support and leading our work on Anti-Racism and initiatives that progress our Multiculturalism strategic priority
